To completely cover your attic floor with insulation out to the eaves you need to install rafter vents also called insulation baffles. Install attic baffles if the attic doesn t have attic baffles let s install them. Place the baffle so that the open channel which runs along its underside is against the roof. The outside edge of the baffle should be parallel to the exterior wall sheathing.
