Drill a hole through your structure where you will supply your power.

Simply drill a hole through the rim joist and siding then run a cable from a basement light fixture to the outlet location.
Use a drill bit that will accommodate the size of the schedule 40 pvc conduit you choose to use as well as one that will drill through the material of your wall.
Then flash the siding out over the trim board on the top for drainage and add j channel on the underside of the trim board.

Turn the drill on and slowly push through the wall behind the outlet box.
Position the end of a 12 in 30 cm drill bit through the hole at the back of the outlet box making sure it doesn t touch any wires.
Remove the cable sheathing down to 1 2 inch.
Use wire strippers to strip 1 2 inch of insulation from each individual wire.
