How to install hinge pin door stopper.
Place the door stop pin into the pin slot on the hinge and situate the hinge pin with a gently hammer action tapping lightly.
Place the tip of the screwdriver underneath the flared top of the hinge pin and use the screwdriver as a lever to force it out.
Insert the hinge pin into the hole in the stopper assembly from above so that the shank of the pin extends below the assembly.
Once you get the pin out you can put your door stop on.

Install the doorstop over the hinge then reinstall the pin.
Close the door then use an old straight slot screwdriver to gently pry up and remove the top hinge pin.
The hinge pin door stop will be an alternative pin which will install in place of the original pin and have the door stop attached to it.

Note the direction that the hinge pin is facing the flat part is against the door the round part hits the molding.
