How to hang float frame on wall.
Predrill holes at the marks then drill standoff screw bases into the wall.
Mark where each hole should be drilled try and be really precise there s not a whole lot of wiggle room if the holes are really off and pre drill each hole with a small drill bit.
They should be low enough on the plywood sheet so they re hidden by the canvas.
Using a small drill bit pre drill a small hole for the screws on both sides of the frame.
With the back side of the frame facing up make a mark less than halfway from the top along the side edge.
How to use a floating picture frame.
Once marked use a level to ensure the frame is straight on the wall before drilling screws to secure.
Hold your artwork up to the wall where you want it to go and use a level to ensure it s straight.
Then use a pencil to mark the hole placements.
Step 6 secure the backing then hold up the floating frame to a wall to see how it will look.
But if you want to have glass you will need to make sure your frame is deep enough for the float mounted art.
Floating picture frames present a number of different decorating opportunities that are too great to pass up.
Use a small ruler to measure and mark both side edges of the frame correspondingly.

Using the photo mounting stickers center your mounted art on the board and secure.
Use adhesive hook and loop tape to attach the canvas to the frame.
When you find a spot on the wall that looks good mark the spot lightly with a pencil.
If you are not using glass in your frame put your art back in your frame and you are ready to hang your new float mounted art.
Determine a place to set the screws that will hold the frame to the wall.
Paint your mounting hardware gold and let it completely dry.
